This question captures one of the biggest stumbling blocks for believers and skeptics alike. \nOur guest lecturer for this event\, Donald T. Williams\, PhD\, is a leading Christian scholar on the works of C.S. Lewis. He will address this “problem of evil” head-on in his talk (about 45 min.). Afterward\, we will have an audience Q&A session\, also running approximately 45 minutes. Bring your thoughtful questions\, and let’s have a lively and productive discussion on this ever-important topic! \nDonald T. Williams\, PhD\, is Professor Emeritus of Toccoa Falls College and a past president of the International Society of Christian Apologetics. A dual citizen of Narnia and Middle-earth\, he stays camped out on the borders between serious scholarship and pastoral ministry\, literature and theology\, poetry and apologetics. He is the author of sixteen books including The Young Christian’s Survival Guide (Christian Publications\, 2019) and Answers from Aslan: the Enduring Apologetics of C. S.
