South Jordan maintains a variety of parks and open spaces throughout the city including large, active recreation parks, small neighborhood parks and even historical sites. These parks boast several different amenities including:

  • Playgrounds
  • Pavilions (Large and Small)
  • Fishing Ponds
  • Basketball and Other Sport Courts
  • Groomed Ballfields

South Jordan has a number of dedicated trails. Loop trails are paved paths that follow the perimeter of existing parks, with convenient parking and access to amenities. These small trails vary in size from less than 1,000 feet to up to 1 mile. Several longer, regional trails also connect South Jordan to neighboring communities.
